Equipped with modern infrastructure and facilities, the Residences for scholars are an effort to create a comfortable home away from home. The School has separate air-conditioned residences for boys and girls, where they are given personal attention and care by experienced House Parents. Each scholar has a comfortable and cozy bed, a bedside table, a study table and a cupboard for their personal belongings. The residences are supported by laundry and housekeeping facilities.
A lounge and recreational room are known as the Common Room in each Residence give scholars an opportunity to play indoor games, watch television, and use the Internet, all under constant guidance.
Facilities at Hostels
Our Scholar Residences are beautifully designed, well-appointed and air-conditioned. There are separate accommodations for boys and girls where they are mentored under the guided hands of House Parents. The Residences function under the overall supervision of the Dean (Residences).
The hostel of Motherland School is a great hub of activity and creativity. The Scholars in Residence (SIRS) have already been able to publish a bi-annual magazine called ‘The Coffee House’ which gives an insight into their life with Motherland.
‘Fun Zone’ is the name given to the competitive and non-competitive activities conducted at the hostel. This Fun Zone enriches our scholar’s life with a plethora of cultural activities such as dance, music, rangoli, painting, skating, extempore; playing sports together and even cooking up an occasional meal for each other adds to the entire experience of living cohesively. Celebrations of all types and festivals are a way of life in the hostel.
